Working with the AFP and Sydney University, we developed immersive experience training scenarios based on research and interviews. Taking into consideration the behavioural and psychological aspects of officers and victims. We are aiming to augment our solutions with Gen AI to cater for more flexible, adaptable and realistic experiences.
Advancing crisis intervention skills and enabling Police officers responding to domestic violence scenarios
- Training Objective: The training objective is to practice crisis intervention skills to interact with victims in domestic violence scenarios.
- Training Process: The training process includes introducing the incident, training in MR, feedback and reflection.
- Simulation: The simulation involves attending the incident, checking the room, and talking to the victim.
- Debriefing: Debriefing includes providing the background of the incident and a script of the conversation between the trainee and the victim.

- Training Solution: A Mixed Reality Training Solution for monitoring and communicating with an alcohol-intoxicated detainee in a cell environment
- Experience Components: The experience has three main components: Introduction, Experiencing the three spatial pains, and Reviewing the experience summary
- Characters: The characters include an actual officer trainee, a virtual officer trainee, and an alcohol-intoxicated prisoner
- Dollhouse Concept: The user can manipulate the watch house cell by examining the spatial pains in separate layers before being brought into the cell environment
- Spatial Pains: The 3 spatial pains include Circadian Lighting, Personal Space, and Impermeability
